About Us

We take in broken people, chronic alcoholics, and drug addicts and teach them how to live sober.

Mission Statement:
I was asked to write a mission statement for Maple Street Recovery House and it is a privilege to do so.
Maple House has been a labor of love for me for over 20 years.
We take in broken people, chronic alcoholics, and drug addicts and teach them how to live sober. We understand that real sobriety is more than just abstinence from drugs and alcohol. It is soundness of mind. We also understand that by applying basic principles in our lives sobriety (real peace of mind) can be attained.
Maple Street provides the structure and support to make this possible. A safe place to recover and begin to establish a new manner of living. Help and direction from people who have been through the thing – I’ve been down the same road. All of the people involved at Maple Street (staff and volunteers) are sober alcoholic and addicts. We have found one alcoholic/addict helping another to be the most effective means to real recovery.
